Absolute disaster. Waited more than 2 hours! Allegedly no delivery because of the weather.

Last dirty shop. You get ripped off on the phone when delivering and everything is pushed to Lieferando. No delivery after 2 hours.

Ordered two times here, won't do it anymore. The food tastes bland and unkind. There are much better Indian restaurants nearby.

What is so difficult to keep to the agreements with Lieferando. It can take longer, but that's why you store your phone number. If you then call after an hour you will only be put off: in 10 minutes. the driver is there .... After another 20 minutes. there is still no one there. That is a mess and a mess!

Definitely not to be recommended! First of all, we waited 2 hours for the food when we called and said the driver had supposedly already delivered the food to us, which is not true. The gentleman on the phone was very friendly and said that he would deliver it "again" immediately. Fortunately, the food came half an hour later after the phone call. Unfortunately, the butter naan was missing at first and the driver made a cheeky comment because the driver brought the food safely, which is absolutely wrong. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good either. So I would definitely not order there again!

Usually little visited. On New Year's Eve, my girlfriend and I could stop here spontaneously without a reservation. Those who like it quieter are in good hands here. It plays music, but it doesn't hinder conversation. Offers a wide variety of food, especially vegetarian, and drinks, with Indian wine as a highlight. Small special requests were always met. The prices are cheap for Munich standards and the portion size. If you stop here more often or order more than just the minimum, you will likely get a mango liqueur at the end. The restaurant is very nicely decorated.

Highly recommended the waiter was the best

Unfortunately, it didn't work out with the delivery. Food came over 50 minutes later and only after I called. The driver did not find the address, so you type everything in block letters. Then there was no soup with the lunch menu (was supposedly abolished?), Naan bread was also missing. It was promised that soups and Naan would be brought in, but unfortunately nothing came! Unfortunately, the taste was also not convincing, since it was much too spicy for a dish that was described as not spicy.

My friend booked Taj for 25 people to have a small party. The food quality at Taj Schwabing was certainly far below expectation. From the taste I felt that Dal tadka was going bad. They used a lot of cream in Palak Paneer dish and the dish was not cooked properly. Not recommended.

Unfortunately, fluctuating quality. We usually have butter chicken delivered, it was very good, but unfortunately not lately. Funny smell, sometimes too hot, sometimes sour ... As if every time a different cook is allowed to try his luck.

Best Indian in all of Munich. Always eaten super delicious and the owners are also very friendly and warm!

Ordered via lieferando. Disaster! 3 hours later still no food. Avoid if you can... update: 4 hours later and still no food. I guess I shall now be forced to stay home and wait for my samosas forever... pray for me!

Nice family restaurant. New year eve with special drinks. Food quality good and smiling faces around. Support the family..... I leave the rest..

Awesome food from an awesome family. Recommend the Chicken Curry with extra Nan bread. Weinschorle is great as well. Good value for money. We’ll be back!

Amazing,authentic Indian Food and very friendly Service. I tried a lot of Indian Restaurants in Munich, but so far this is my fav when it comes to Indian cuisine.

Food was good but waiter didn't clarify about the dish when we ordered. Hence we had to pay extra money. Otherwise food was quite tasty.

Very nice place .. and food was delicious

The Hotel service is quite good and staffs are very well behaved. Food quality is nice. I loved eating Dal Makhani here. In price, it is bit cheaper as compared to other indian restaurants in Munich.

Unfortunately, all in the end, a big disappointment. I can only advise everyone to order there. 90min + Is too much on a Sunday. The food not worth mentioning, without spices, boring - no taste. For us the first and the last time.

It was amazing experience Everytime we go there ? Chatpata chicken and those butter naan were drooling ? Loved the whole meal and mango lahsi...must go guys...we go twice a week now.

This place was delicious! We had the chicken biryani, chicken tendori, and some garlic nans. The service was great and the owners were very kind! They even gave us a mango smoothie at the end to thank us for coming. We will definitely come here again. Kids loved the food enough said!!

A nice curry.

It's the little things that bother you here! Interior (guest room and table decoration) in this small restaurant (40 seats) is unfortunately very tasteless and unloving. Was here for lunch. Plus there are lunch menus. I had the chicken thali with lentil soup for starters. The soup was very salty (which makes me finish broth?) The food was adequate and ok. The salad that was served had a ready dressing. Unfortunately, the "house" -Chai has no taste in sophistication, which would make him a "home drink". However, I am full and the waitress was ok

I am very happy with the Taj Schwabing. Their hospitality and the taste of food is really good and the quantity. Especially the Taj biryani. I recommend this restaurant to all

Enjoyed the Indian food. I found the thali affordable, and tasty. The hospitality of the host was good too. I had chicken thali along with Mango Lassi. I was surprised by a complimentary juice ( I don't remember the name) by the hosts. I would recommend this place for anyone interested in Indian cuisine at Munich.

Food arrived after a long wait 40 min. Both dishes were too salty

Do not order for an event from this place. I discussed an order and they suggested a price. I called the next day to confirm the order and the price to which they agreed again. Then the night before the event, they called me saying the price they agreed on was not correct and now they want more money. If I want the price that they had offered I should reduce my order ( which won't work because of the number of people invited and they knew this) or if I want the same order I should pay more money or cancel the order. Keep in mind, this the night before the event and I couldn't afford to make any changes at this moment, so I agreed to pay the extra amount. On top of all of this, they accused me of somehow cheating them into giving a lower price! This is highly unprofessional behaviour and just downright dishonesty. I wouldn't recommend anyone getting these guys to cater for you unless you fancy a call a night before the event asking you to pay more! I wish I could give lower than one star or even a negative rating because this kind of behaviour deserves that kind of rating. Edit: I had not increased the number of portions as they claim in their response. Also, they did not call me to confirm the order, I did at 1 pm. The only time they called was to say the price has now increased for the same order at 9:30 pm. So it took them 8.5 hours to realise the price increase apparently. They tried to put the blame on me on the phone as well and apologised when I pointed out that it was them who had quoted the original price. Also, the 'minimum requirement' of a day was not mentioned at all. Making a mistake is one thing but to continually put the blame on someone else instead of owing up is just ridiculous. I say it again, do not order from this place!

We ordered Butter Chicken and Murg Tikka and enjoyed them both. Side-note: A few things I have noticed about all Indian chicken dishes in Germany held even in this case: 1. The chicken is never well-marinated. There is masala on the outside, but it is always white on the inside. That is probably because they thaw the chicken directly when they need it. That seems like the most likely explanation. Or maybe the breed of chicken here has the kind of composition that marination doesn't work on much. 2. (This one is kind of silly) The pieces are cut in this symmetric, cube-like fashion. Makes it seem a tad unnatural to me somehow (Not that most meat these days is perfectly natural to begin with). Maybe all restaurants here buy pre-cut chicken, for some reason? Jeez, I don't know, never really figured it out.

Not as fancy as some of the other Indian restaurants you will encounter in Munich, but friendly and attentive service. I found the food of average quality for munich, I had a shared vegetarian Thali - some of the curries were delicious, others a little bit bland.

I could eat here forever and ever. The restaurant is not very fancy, rather a family business, but the food and the way they serve and treat you is just perfect for me. I was in love from the first time and I prefer them over more fancy places.

That Indian taste you can enjoy here but don't expect any special treatment from the owner for Indians

The restaurant was recommended to me by friends and my expectations were exceeded. Very pleasant atmosphere and super delicious food. Definitely my favorite for Indian food in Munich!
